Production area: Municipality of La Morra
Vinification: Maceration for 20-25 days at a controlled temperature of between 25 and 28°C with pumping over in stainless steel tanks. Thanks to the prolonged contact of the must-wine with the marc, the tannins and polyphenols indispensable for long ageing in wood are extracted. Racking off at the end of alcoholic fermentation and subsequent malolactic fermentation, also carried out in stainless steel. The wine is aged in oak barrels for a period of approximately 24 months.
Serving temperature: 18-20°C
Optimum age: 4-5 years
Alcohol content: 14%.
